Mooring at Foxton
There is very limited mooring within Foxton basin itself because the majority of mooring points are temporarily reserved for people entering or exiting the locks and the bridge. The only mooring points for day boats are the two or three situated at the bottom of Foxton Locks Inn’s garden (identified in red in the image below.)
Day boats are NOT permitted to moor at any other mooring point in the basin.
Unless you can find a free spot outside Foxton Locks Inn, we suggest you turn your boat in the basin and come back through the swing bridge the way you came. You can then moor up a little way further down on the left hand side. If you’d like to have a look round Foxton Locks, you are still within walking distance.
