Inaccessible outside areas
Do not go onto the roof. This includes crawling, sitting or lying on it.
Do not stand within the arc of the tiller as it may result in people being pushed overboard.
Do not stand or sit on the very tip of the bow.
Accessible outside areas are:
The front deck.
The sides (“gunwales”) – with great care.
The back deck.
When on deck
Please wear non-slip shoes.
Don’t try to jump from the boat onto the bank.
Don’t fend off with your arms, legs or a boat pole – let the fender take the impact.
Children to wear lifejackets.
A moving boat has the force to crush you – keep your body out of the way.
Don’t have your legs dangling over the side, your hands over the edge or your head out of the hatch.
